How the blind are powering their disability and detecting cancer

A group of women in Delhi are redefining how the world sees the blind as they turn their disability into superpower to detect early cancer. These women use their evolved sense of touch to spot lumps in the breast. Their ability to declutter their mind and focus just on their touch, a way of life for the blind, could make them remarkably efficient in detecting breast cancer. They are being trained and used in detection through Healing Hands, a joint initiative between NAB and a German organisation.
