Officials behind Aarey tree-felling must be sent to PoK: Aaditya Thackeray
Updated on Feb 28, 2020 07:48 pm IST
Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray commented on the ongoing Aarey controversy. The candidate from Worli constituency opposed the tree-felling in Aarey to make space for a Metro shed. Thackeray said that the officials behind the deforestation exercise would be sent to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir if his party comes back to power. When reporters pointed out that the Sena is still a part of the ruling coalition in Maharashtra, Thackeray said that his party has never shied away from striking a discordant note on important issues.
