PM Modi, Defence Minister Nirmala pay homage to Manohar Parrikar in Goa

A day after Chief Minister of Goa and former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar passed away, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Goa to pay his last respects to the senior BJP leader. PM Modi laid a wreath on Parrikar's casket and consoled his grieving family. PM Modi was accompanied by Parrikar's successor in the Union Cabinet, Nirmala Sitharaman who also paid homage to the late politician. Parrikar fought a brave, year-long battle against pancreatic cancer but couldn't emerge victorious and expired at his residence in Goa on March 17.
