PM Modi spoke to US President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday. PM Modi had a telephonic conversation with Biden over several issues. PM Modi discussed Covid-19 containment, climate changes with Biden. The PM also congratulated Joe Biden on his election in the USA. The prime minister also spoke to VP-elect Kamala Harris on Tuesday. The PM said Harris' 'success is a matter of great pride and inspiration'. PM Modi had earlier congratulated Biden and Harris on Twitter on Nov 8. PM Modi lauded Biden on a 'spectacular victory'. Prime minister had also congratulated Harris on the same day. PM said he was confident of vibrant india-us ties getting stronger.
