Updated on Jun 03, 2018 08:40 pm IST
Former president Pranab Mukherjee says he will respond to the issue of accepting RSS invite when he attends the event in Nagpur. There has been furore in political circles ever since the 82-year-old leader accepted an invitation from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to attend its function on June 7. Several Congress leaders have objected to his decision and have asked him to reconsider. Mukherjee was a Congress leader throughout his political career before being elected as the president of India. A Bengali daily quoted him as saying that he will say whatever he has to in Nagpur.
