Preparations in full swing ahead of Christmas. Students of Institute of Baking and Cake Art baked more than 23 cake models which included St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, kathakali dancer showcasing Kerala's culture, Chandrayaan-2 and so on. The cake models were made for Bengaluru Cake Show organised at St Joseph's Indian High School's ground. In Coimbatore, bamboo weavers are making eco-friendly cribs. Bamboo weavers cut cribs into small sticks depending on the size. Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25. The festival commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
