Reservation alone does not guarantee community’s progress: Nitin Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari spoke on the issue of reservations and said that it does not ensure progress of a community.Gadkari said that people like Indira Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj or even Vasundhara Raje never enjoyed reservation. He added that reservation should be provided to the oppressed and backward. Gadkari was addressing a gathering at the 'Akhil Bhartiya Mali Samaj Mahaadiveshan', organised by the Mahatma Phule Shikshan Sanstha.
