Smog reigns over Delhi, air quality continues to deteriorate

Chilly winters and dismal air quality is proving to be a toxic combination for Delhi residents. According to SAFAR, PM 10 were docked at 336 in 'poor' category at 8 am on December 10. While PM 2.5 was docked at 201, 'very poor' category. Delhi is expected to receive light rains in the coming days. EPCA will soon hold meeting to discuss progress of shifting from coal to natural gas. Still covered in a visible blanket of thick smog, the union territory continues to choke three years on.
