Covid: Textile manufacturer’s unique PPE, engineer’s robot for sample collection

India is witnessing growing number of Covid cases with each passing day. Several people have joined hands to fight against coronavirus. A textile manufacturer from Coimbatore has developed unique PPE kits. These PPE kits for paramedical staffs are chlorine-enriched and reusable. In another instance, a robotic engineer has developed smart swab robot. The smart swab robot has been developed for sample collection. The engineer too is based out of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The robot works automatically after it is connected to phone via an app. The robot eliminates any human interference and could help to contain the spread of coronavirus.
