‘Travelled on scooter’: PM Modi remembers old days as JP Nadda takes BJP reins

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered old days with Jagat Prakash Nadda as the latter took over as the new national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. PM Modi reminisced that the two used to ride around on scooters when they were lower-rung workers of the party. He also said that people of Himachal and Bihar should be proud of Nadda's achievements. While Himachal Pradesh is Nadda's home state, he is a product of Patna university politics. PM Modi also hailed the party's progress under the leadership of Nadda's predecessor, Amit Shah, who is now the Union Home Minister.
