UP CM Adityanath launches ‘Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana’ in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched 'Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana' in Lucknow. Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani and Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel were also present. The Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana aims at empowering the girl child. Under the scheme, Rs 15,000 will be given to families in which a girl child is born.
