Watch: Despite prohibitory orders, massive anti-CAA protests in Uttar Pradesh

Despite prohibitory orders being put in place, many parts of Uttar Pradesh witnessed massive protests against the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act. Samajwadi Party MLAs protested outside the assembly even as party chief Akhilesh Yadav attacked the Modi government over the act. Police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse protesters in many parts of Lucknow. Protests were also held in Chandauli region of the state and some vehicles were set on fire in Sambhal.
