Watch | Dry spell worries apple farmers in Shimla

The prolonged dry spell has brought upon a drought like situation and it is worrying the apple growers in Shimla as farmers are not able to produce the fruit in the adverse conditions. The farmers were already affected with demonetisation as they believe that they could not buy fertilizers for crops including apple. Now they are hopeful if they get timely snowfall and rain they would get a good crop ahead.
