The Indian diaspora in New York held a rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Bill. The protesters were seen with placards backing the contentious act and also raised slogans supporting the same. The rally comes amid massive protests in India against the bill that allows citizenship act. The Modi government has been under fire ever since the bill was passed in both houses of Parliament.
