Watch: Pak plans to keep Kashmir boiling till Imran Khan’s UNGA speech

The civil liberties debate is one of the key challenges facing the Narendra Modi government following the removal of Article 370 and bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir. On one side there are lock-down conditions to ensure peace. On the other side, the relaxing of restrictions makes space for incitement and violence. Hindustan Times' Executive Editor Shishir Gupta says that the government will have to keep minimum restrictions in place at least till the UNGA meeting in late September. “This is because Pakistan will try to incite violence in Kashmir by all means possible till Imran Khan's speech at UNGA.
