Watch: Yashwant Sinha says he is quitting party politics

Yashwant Sinha, the former Union finance minister, retired from party-based politics on April 21. At a meeting in Patna, the 80-year-old leader also said he is severing his long association with the BJP and announced that he will now work for “saving democracy in the country”. The meeting was attended by opposition leaders from the Congress and the RJD besides dissident BJP leader and Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha.
