Why Jyotiraditya Scindia quit Congress | Madhya Pradesh crisis

On March 10, as the nation celebrated Holi, senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia sprang a surprise in Madhya Pradesh. He ended his 18-year long association with the Indian National Congress party. Over 20 MLAs, considered to be close to him, tendered their resignation from the Assembly, putting the Kamal Nath-led government in jeopardy. Scindia had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah before sending his resignation to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
