12-hr Bangla bandh against fuel price hike

The political fallout of fuel price hike began on Thursday with the ruling Left Front and opposition Trinamool Congress in West Bengal calling for 12 hour 'Bangla bandh'. The bandh has severely affected flight schedules to and fro Kolkata with most of the flights cancelled or re-scheduled. Besides air transport, rail and road transport are also being affected.
