2G scam: BJP continues to slam PM, Chidambaram

Stepping up pressure on the government, BJP leader Uma Bharti has urged the Prime Minister to accept Home Minister P Chidambaram's resignation at the earliest, over his alleged role in the multi-billion dollar telecom scam. Meanwhile, lashing out at Chidambaram, senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh, while interacting with mediapersons in Noida, urged the Prime Minister and Congress president Sonia Gandhi to stop shielding the minister, over the issue.
