2G scam: SC adjourns Kanimozhi's bail plea

The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the bail plea of telecom scam accused DMK leader MK Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar, till June 20. While talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, defence counsel Vijay Aggrawal said the vacation bench of justices BS Chauhan and Swatanter Kumar also issued a notice to the CBI, to give information as to what had happened to Rs 200 crore allegedly accepted by Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar. Meanwhile, counsel for CBI, R Krishnamurthi, welcomed the Supreme Court ruling and revealed the key questions raised by the bench during the hearing.
