400 students held for partying without permissions in Mumbai

Four hundred students were arrested from a farmhouse at Theur near Pune, for partying on Friendship Day without taking requisite permissions from the police. According to Ravindra Singh Pardeshi, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Pune Gramin area, students who consumed alcohol would be prosecuted under the Bombay Prohibition Act.Students, including boys and girls are from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. For organising a party in a residential area, permission for loudspeaker, license for serving liquor in parties, safety and security, and other permissions from concerned officials is a must.
