Air pollution causes eye ailments in a village

People in the village of Akbarpur Mati, near the industrial town of Kanpur are facing tough time. They are fighting the health hazards caused by toxic emissions of the 300 factories running in the vicinity. Due to the emissions people living in the area have incurred corneal diseases and eye allergies. The doctors even claim that out of 80 patients visiting the Clinic 50% are victims of corneal injuries and allergic conjunctivitis caused by air pollution.
