Annual chariot procession begins in Gujarat

Ahmedabad teemed with devotees who had gathered from across the country on Wednesday to take part in the annual chariot procession. The devotees sang and prayed as the procession of chariots of Hindu deities Jagannath, Subhadra and Balram made its way through the city streets. Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi also came and offered prayers to the deities.
