Assam polls: Sonia lauds Gogoi's work

Lauding Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi while addressing an election rally at Guwahati ahead of the state polls on Friday, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi said the people of the region should allow development projects mooted by the Congress party to continue. The Congress chief also slammed Bharatiya Janata Party for neglecting the region when it headed the central government in New Delhi. Gandhi added that her party has been committed towards the development of deprived sections of the society.
