Bal Thackeray's ashes immersed in Sea

The Ashes of late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray were immersed in the Arabian sea in Mumbai by his son Uddhav Thackeray and close family members today. Thackeray's nephew and MNS chief Raj Thackeray was also seen at the immersion ceremony. Earlier on Monday the Shiv Sena party demanded for a memorial dedicated to its late founder Bal Keshav Thackeray to be constructed at the site of his funeral at the Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Bal Thackeray, the 86-year-old Shiv Sena leader was consigned to the flames in Mumbai on Sunday where thousands of his ardent supporters bade him a tearful farewell.
