BJP agrees to consider Shatrughan for Patna Saheb seat

India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday agreed to consider Shatrughan Sinha's choice of contesting from his native Patna Saheb parliamentary constituency. Sinha reportedly on Monday said that he would retire from politics if his choice was not considered. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said that when anybody is being asked to contest for the Lok Sabha, his choice is considered.
