BJP seek PM's intervention to resolve land row

BJP leaders have sought the Prime Minister's intervention in revoking the cancellation of forest land originally allotted to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. A delegation of BJP leaders led by Lal Krishna Advani called on the Prime Minister, asking to take steps to redress their grievances. The protesters demand restoration of forestland allotted to the trust by the state government for making makeshift facilities for the pilgrims to the Amarnath shrine.
