BJP welcomes Mamata's comments on early election

Taking a dig at the ruling UPA, BJP leader Shanawaz Hussain while reacting to Mamata Banerjee's comments on early general elections, said that the UPA is a burden on the country and it should actually go as soon as possible. However the Congress party has said that election would be held as per schedule. Banerjee's comments could further hamper ties between the government and the TMC, which have already been strained due to the mutual differences on a range of political and economic policy issues.
