Buddhist monument in shambles

In Bihar locals moan the degrading condition of a Buddhist monument. This Buddhist stupa, is a sought after tourist destination. The locals say that despite the fact that it comes under the control of the country's archeological department, the stupa remains neglected. No steps are being taken to facilitate tourists. Authorities however said, that they have already submitted a report asking the government to develop the site.
