Buddhist site in India faces slump in tourism

Tourism industry in Bodhgaya has been hit hard with the trickle of foreign tourists drying up on account of economic slowdown and Mumbai terror attacks. Bodhgaya is one of the most frequented destinations by the Buddhists from countries like Japan, China, Korea and Nepal. Winter season here coincides with a Buddhists festival called Wivin Puja. The small township wears a look of big fair teeming with visitors during the season.
