C-130 J plane capable of landing on any terrain: PV Naik

Indian Air Force Marshal PV Naik said on Thursday that the soon-to-be inducted unique aircraft C-130 J 'Hercules'' is capable of landing on 'all sorts of terrains and altitudes'. Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Naik reiterated the special operations capabilities of the transport aircraft, which will be inducted into the air force on February 5. The aircraft can land at any time of the day including blackouts conditions; heavy rains and can fly very low level. Special features are included to ensure aircraft survivability in hostile air defence environment.
