Cauvery water row: PM meets Karnataka Congress leaders

External affairs minister SM Krishna, labour minister Mallikarjun Kharge, minister of state for railways KH Munniyappa along with Water Resources minister Pawan Kumar Bansal today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and discussed the Cauvery water dispute at his South Block office. Briefing the mediapersons about the meeting Kharge said that the state ministers from Karnataka have urged Singh to resolve the issue of water dispute as soon as possible. Kharge also said Singh had sent an expert committee to review the situation and would take a decision after the report of the committee.
