Cong playing double game on Telangana: Sushma
Updated on Feb 19, 2014 02:33 am IST
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday said that the UPA had not done anything in its second tenure for the formation of Telangana and had brought the bill in the House only in Parliament's last session. Sushma added that in 2004 Congress had fought elections with TRS and had promised that they would work for Telangana, however they finished the tenure without acting on it. She also said that the Congress had wanted the BJP to reject the Telangana Bill amidst uproar, so that they could blame them for non-passage of the bill.
