Even as Congress pins all its hope on youth factor of Rahul Gandhi, following his promotion to party Vice President earlier on January 19, ahead of the 2014 general elections, agenda of the party is slowly and steadily becoming clearer each day. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Kamal Nath insisted, that Congress wants the party's newly appointed number 2 closer to the Prime Minister's post, now more than ever. Prominent Congress Leaders, at the party's prolific 'chintan shivir' appeared ecstatic over the recent development, however, they were also quick to assert that Rahul as the vice president will have no direct linkage with the Government's policies.
