Congress celebrates as the party surges ahead

Upbeat supporters of the Congress Party celebrated the prospect of forming governments in three states as vote counting on Thursday show the winning trends in favour of the party. Supporters gathered outside the Congress Party office at 10 Janpath in Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday, danced, cheered and shouted slogans for the long life of Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary of Congress Party.
