Updated on Mar 30, 2016 05:08 pm IST
Six months after that fateful night when 51-year-old Mohammed Ikhlaq was lynched in front of his family over rumors of eating beef, HT returns to the village to find whether peace has returned. Villagers want to know if the meat found inside Ikhlaq's house was mutton or beef . They claim that the villagers have lived peacefully throughout and such an incident has happened only once in the history of the village. They also refute the reports of Muslim families leaving the village post the incident.
