Dalai Lama included in India's National Census 2011

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetans in-exile in Himachal Pradesh was on Friday enrolled in 2011 census of India by endorsing his relevant details in the form for the exercise. His inclusion in the census has paved the way for bona fide Tibetan refugees residing in India to be reckoned in the census. The Tibetan population in-exile is being counted in the census of India 2011 for the first time.
