Devotees celebrate harvest festival 'Baisakhi

Among the rich and glorious festivals of India, is Baisakhi, which is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in India. Many Sikh devotees across India visited the renowned golden temple, the holy shrine of Sikhs in Amritsar. The devotees took a holy dip in the pool of the Nectar of Immortality surrounding the Golden Temple and offered prayers. In Varanasi too, a large number of devotees took a holy dip in the River Ganges and gave donations to the priest and prayed for their ancestors and families' happiness.
