Updated on Sept 30, 2013 08:20 pm IST
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday questioned Union Home Minister Sushil Shinde's motive behind writing a letter to all chief ministers on the issue of wrongful detention of Muslim youngsters in terror cases. Senior BJP leader Venkaiya Naidu accused the Home Minister of playing divisive politics to gain political mileage. Shinde's letter states that a number of cases have come to light which shows members of Muslim community have been wrongly picked up by police in terror cases.
