Dr Sen on education in Bihar

Dwelling on the glorious past of Bihar in education, renowned economist, and Nobel laureate Amartya Sen on Tuesday said despite improvements in the education sector, much more is needed to be done to improve the education system in the state. Sen made these remarks while releasing a report on 'Status of Primary Education in Bihar: Progress and Challenges' in state capital Patna. He also stressed on the need to strengthen the primary education system for promoting higher education.
