Fall in wholesale Price Index not unusual: Finance Secretary

India's Finance Secretary Ashok Chawla said that the Indian economy is on the path of improvement and the fall in wholesale price index is not unusual phenomenon. He said this while talking to reporters in New Delhi on Thursday. Even finance experts do no attach much importance to the fall in the WPI and on the other hand, more importance is attributed to the Consumer Price Index, as the commoners are concerned with this.
