Scarcity of funds has stopped the stone carving work of the intended Ram temple at the disputed site of the demolished Babri Mosque at Ayodhya in India's northern Uttar Pradesh. The stone cutting as well as stone carving work, which was going on for quite some time has come to a standstill for the past one and a half months. The temple construction management attributes the suspension of work to paucity of funds.
