Gadkari lashes out at congress for its wrong policies
Updated on Apr 19, 2010 09:20 pm IST
Nitin Gadkari, chief of BJP, on Sunday said that wrong economic policies of Congress-led central government are responsible for price rise. The main opposition parties have said they would seek a special vote on the budget for the financial year that began on April 1, demanding a rollback in petroleum and fertilizer price hikes. If the government loses the vote, it will have to resign. The opposition parties have also called for countrywide strikes to protest against rising prices.
