The remaining ashes of the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, were immersed in the Arabian Sea off the coast of western Mumbai on Wednesday, January 30 to mark the 60th death anniversary of the martyred leader. Before taking them to the sea, the ashes were taken out in a procession led by the fourth generation of Gandhi's children from Mani Bhawan, which served as Gandhi's Mumbai residence, where he stayed from 1917 to 1934.
