According to a survey conducted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), the GDP is expected to grow by 9 per cent in the fiscal year 2007-2008. Earlier, ASSOCHAM had projected the GDP growth at 8.7 per cent but considering the growing rate of investment, it has revised its projection.
