Gehlot orders inquiry into stripping of couple

Rajasthan chief minister, Ashok Gehlot has ordered a high level investigation in the incident of beating a couple badly, which had happened under Sarada police station of Udaipur district of the state. Gehlot has instructed the Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur to conduct an enquiry in the matter and submit a report soon. Stressing the need of respecting women in society, Gehlot said that after investigations if culprits were found guilty they must be punished. Prakash Meena, 25, had an illicit relationship with a married woman in the village and had eloped about 10 days ago.
