Govt asks political parties to decide on Telangana issue

Union home minister P Chidambaram has on Saturday said that the government has appealed four political parties to quickly make up their mind over the demand for creation of separate Telangana state. Speaking over the Armed Forces Special Powers Act issue, Chidambaram said three amendments with regard to the Afspa were pending with the Cabinet Committee on Security.
