Govt keen to remove hurdles for steel major Posco: Steel minister

Addressing reporters on the sidelines of his meeting with an eight-member Posco delegation, Indian Steel Minister, Virbhadra Singh, said on Monday said that the central government is trying it's best to ensure South Korean steel major, Posco's 12-million-ton steel plant project, kicks-off in Orissa. Speaking on the petition filed in Orissa High Court regarding allotment of some mines to Posco, Singh said the ministry would approach the court for an early hearing of the case.
