Home Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday assured that the Indian government would ask the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to move the sessions court in Bhopal for an early hearing of its revision application and appeal filed by the Madhya Pradesh government to seek graver punishment for the accused in the Bhopal gas tragedy case. Chidambaram said the judgment given by the Supreme Court was not the end of the road, adding that the apex court supported the stand taken by the CBI for the trial for the two additional petitions by government pending in Bhopal sessions court.
