Gumla: Maoists gun down two in a family

Unarmed villagers once again became the target of Maoist rebels in Gumla district of Jharkhand. An outfit of the Maoist ultras barged into a house at Basiya village in Gumla district and opened reckless firing on the members of a family in which the parents succumbed to gunshots while two of their children were grievously injured. Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gumla Range under Ranchi Zone, Seetal Urav stated that the suspected Maoists belonged to an outfit identified as Pahari Cheetah.
